So last November I had horrible tooth ache, the dentist did a procedure, I think removed part of the nerve and put temporary filling in it, she also said it wasn't a permanent solution, and advised have the tooth removed. She also said I would need a better x-ray, maybe CT scan on the tooth. Last week was contacted by a oral surgery in another town that has been referred from my dentists, I spoke to the women about the x-ray and she got back to me and said I didn't need a x-ray, who do I believe my dentist or the oral surgeon, I have booked it for a week on Monday, but scared they will operate without all the info.

The oral surgeon would have looked at the x-ray provided by your dentist and made the determination, that all relevant info was visible on the x-ray.
If you are scared, you can ask your dentist to take a better x-ray and take it along to the oral surgeon.

So had tooth out on Monday gone, they had a bit of trouble removing as it was crumbly, anyway have felt some throbbing last couple of days is this normal, even woke me up this morning, am worried it may be infected or dry socket.

Some minor surgical pain is to be expected.
If the pain increases in intensity and is accompanied by a bad pain and swelling, there might be a dry socket.

So went back to dentist she cleaned the socket, and put a dressing in it gave me relief for 5 hours but the pain is back, but not as bad. She said it's not infected, but a partial dry socket,my gum is very sore, so maybe it's that and not the socket.

Got home from work today and it has started again, a constant throbbing, took a couple of ibuprofen but barely helped, will have to ring dentist again, wish I never had it out.
