Cerec Crown Adjustment

I have a cerec crown on my back upper molar. It had to be adjusted some because my bite was too high. The dentist mentioned as he was shaving it down how he didn't want to do as much as he did because of the chance of it cracking, chipping, or breaking but my bite was still very uncomfortable until he did more. I am now worried, however, of the crown failing. What are the chances of this happening? I don't want it to mess up in my day to day.
