Wisdom teeth extraction hurt tooth and swollen gums after 2 weeks , is this normal part of the healing?

It looks like it is still healing next to the second molar. A lot of times, the incision made in order to remove the wisdom tooth, extends until the 2nd molar and the flap that is raised, extends to this area as well. If it was a very difficult extraction, it might also take longer to heal. A hole closer can sometimes take up until one month, and then bone remodeling below the bone, can take 3 to 6 months. If the pain is not decreasing at all, perhaps consider seeing your dentist/oral surgeon for a follow-up visit.
You will need to rule out any remaining root pieces or damage to the adjacent tooth. All of these are risk factors when having a wisdom tooth removed.

It is normal for gums to remain swollen for up to two weeks after wisdom teeth extraction, especially if there was significant trauma during the procedure. However, monitoring your symptoms closely and seeking dental advice if anything seems amiss is always recommended.
