Wisdom teeth eruption and pain?

I’ve tried to google but haven’t found an answer to my specific question.

Do wisdom teeth eruption always hurt, even if there is no problems with the tooth?

Or

Do wisdom teeth eruption only hurt when there is something wrong with the tooth?

The eruption of any tooth can be painful at times. To determine if the tooth is problematic, an x-ray and clinical exam will be required.

If your wisdom teeth have enough space, and if they grow in straight, you might not ever feel pain. However, if your wisdom teeth erupt and there isn't enough room for them in your mouth, they typically cause intense pain, inflammation, and irritation.
