Will using Corsodyl gum repair toothpaste help my receding gums?

I have receding gums on the bottom. I have been using Corsodyl gum repair toothpaste, brushing twice a day. Gums are not bleeding now, but how do I know if this is working?

Have you switched to a soft toothbrush? Are you brushing in circles instead of scrubbing horizontally?

I'm using an electric toothbrush, but am going to get some softer brush heads today. I think I may be scrubbing horizontally.

Try switching to a circular method and using a softer head. Make sure the settings on the electric toothbrush is also set to gentle or soft or whichever setting your toothbrush has.
