Will LANAP make gums grow?

I need a straight and simple answer to a question: Will LANAP regenerate severely recessed gums, i.e.make the gums grow back? I have had mixed answers on this.

A LANAP specialist wants to do LANAP. Another periodontist wants to do traditional surgery. Says LANAP will not regrow gums.

WHAT is the truth?
