Which requires less drilling. And when they fall out which requires less drilling to replace? Like if its a white filling and it falls out does that require more drilling than an inlay to refill? And what kind of inlay, if it requires less drilling?
It depends on the size of the cavity. Inlays are usually for larger type of cavities. Small white fillings don't necessarily require any drilling if the filling de-bonds, especially if there was no secondary decay present. The same goes for an inlay.
So all in all, depends on the size of the initial cavity.
