My husband had a tooth extraction 2 weeks ago (wisdom tooth left side) and he is still have pain even when he eats. I look into his mouth and see a white spot in the inner surface of the gum when the tooth used to be , at the beginning I thought it was an ulcer then I touched it and it was hard as bone and very painful. I attached a picture. Please help me. What is it? Can be osteomyelitis? what is the treatment? I really appreciate in advance your guidance
