What causes the pain?

Do you see anything wrong with this part of my dental xray?

I feel significant pain when normal pressure is put on the area of the tooth just below the green dot.

My dentist doesn't see anything wrong, and can't seem to find the root of the pain.

Could someone provide insight please?

I cannot chew from that side since 15 days and it has become quite annoying/distressing.
