Swollen gum behind back molar?

38yo female, healthy. Woke up with swollen gums around my bottom back molar. My wisdom teeth were removed a long time ago. I also currently have strep throat, so not sure if that is causing inflammation. I also have a temporary filling on the tooth directly above it on my top molar, and when wearing a night guard it doesn’t totally fit so it may be causing some saliva to drip down? Either way, I have an appt next Thursday anyway to see my dentist and get a permanent filling.
Anything I can do in the meantime ? Does this warrant a more urgent visit before Thursday?

It is not necessary to arrange an earlier appointment. Try rinsing with luke warm salt water and take some anti-inflammatory medicine for the pain
