Shaky Hands in Dentistry School

Hey everyone, I’m just starting out in dentistry school, and I’m super excited, but also a bit nervous. I’ve noticed that my hands tend to shake a little bit, tho I haven’t been diagnosed with anything. My big worry is whether this could affect my performance, especially when we start doing more hands-on procedures. I’ve always thought that being a dentist requires super steady hands, so I’m concerned this might be a bigger issue down the line. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips or advice on how to manage it? Thanks in advance for any help!

Giving me nostalgia, with time and sound knowledge and perfect eyes you will get over this feeling, fear of going wrong or being getting scorned by senior Wil make you slower. You can do it, I always tell my students this is not a new discovery, your seniors have been doing it so can you.

Having shaky hands might feel concerning at the start of your dental career, it’s important to recognize that many students face similar challenges. With practice, relaxation techniques, and possibly professional guidance if necessary, you should be able to manage this issue effectively as you progress through dental school.
