SELF WITHENING TEETH PROCEDURE WITHOUT GINGIVAL BARRIER

Hello, I'm going to buy some carbamide peroxide ( 35% ) to whiten my teeth at home, alone.

I'm planning to buy a mouth retractor but not a gingival barrier as these are only sold in large quantities.

So I was wondering if I could do the procedure this way? Knowing that I will apply the gel not all over the tooth but a "pee sized" on each tooth to avoid touching my gums.

Thank you

There is a chance that the acid might burn the gingiva. Usually they turn white in colour , but it only lasts for a few hours.
If you are careful, you should be fine.
The best option though is to see a dentist first, just to make sure the rest of your teeth are in a good condition. Applying an acidic bleaching agent, with teeth that might have open cavities, might lead to complications down, the line.
