My son is 6 years old and his adult front tooth (central incisor) has come through pointy. His dentist has never seen it before and has referred him both to the orthodontist and children’s hospital however is unsure what they can do to fix it. The tooth is causing him to have a slight lisp.
Does any body know if there is anything that can be done to fix it? He is becoming self conscious of it.

Most likely the tooth will need to be restored with a filling material, until he is old enough to receive a more permanent crown. This is all dependent on what the orthodontist recommends though. He needs to rule out any additional issues.
