Hi, I had my wisdom teeth pulled out a long time ago. About 7 years ago. Recently I had to get a root canal and discovered in the x Ray there was a piece of amalgam filling where my wisdom tooth use to be. Could it be when the oral surgeon pulled out my wisdom tooth got a piece of filling stick under my gum and sowed up my gum and that is how it healed? If so I have gone to numerous oral surgeons to get this removed as I'm scared of the health risks this may cause, yet none seem to care to have it removed. Please help? What can I do?
