Pain started in extraction site on day 11

I had two upper molar extractions side by side 12 days ago. No sutures. Was healing very nicely. No pain at all. However yesterday I started to feel a discomfort in the extraction site and today (day 12) there is a constant dull ache in the site, and jaw joint. I also get stronger twinges of pain depending how I move. No sign of swelling. Roof of mouth on that side also hurts. What does this sound like. I have an appt with my dentist on Thursday.
