Pain after root canal

I had a root canal on an upper second molar. Temp crown was fine, but permanent crown was ill-fitting and a cusp "hung" on bottom teeth when grinding food. After 3 bite corrections, occlusion feels better. I have a lot of pain to lateral pressure (gums look good, x-rays look good, root canal looks perfect, no sensitivity to cold or heat.) I'm thinking it's the periodontal ligament? What can I do? It's been 2 weeks since final crown adjustment.

Did you take any anti-inflammatory medicine? If the ligament was inflamed due to an incorrect bite, it can take up to 4 weeks to subside.
