Listerine + act mouthwash

Before purple listerine total care existed and lets say green or blue listerine only to kill bad breath was around and act mouthwash but only for cavities was around too, how could one combine green or blue listerine plus green or red act mouthwash to achieve what purple listerine does today but back then simultaneously? Would any dentists have a suggestion??
