Had my tooth extracted and a day later this white layer appeared to be almost the size of a tooth? Was wondering if that’s normal or should I have it checked out, doesn’t hurt or anything.
This is normal. This is scar tissue forming. The only time you should be worried, is if you start to experience severe pain after about 3-5 days. This might be an indication of a infection.

thank you so much, I was starting to worry but seeing as it’s just scar tissue and I have no pain then I’m okay. Will it eventually start falling off before closing?
