Is this Dry socket.

Had wisdom teeth removed on friday (the 7th)
this one area hurts. had all four removed but this spot is aching.

please help

Dry socket occurs 3-4 days post-op, and is usually described as excrutiating pain that doesn't settle with any painkiller, and you will have a foul breath and bad taste. Antibiotics won't help because it isn't an infection. You would have to see a dentist to a have a sedative dressing placed.

it’s pretty painful in my jaw and it goes to my ears and temples. however haven’t smelled bad breath and only tastes blood. couldn’t sleep from the pain.

taking acetaminophen/caffeine/codeine
was taking every 6 hours now taking it before bed and i’m the morning and ibuprofens every few hours. i’m going to the dentist friday but my jaw is hurting and my temple hurts like crazy.
