I suspect my upper jaw is narrow, compounded by a deviated septum (surgery scheduled soon). I'm exploring options to widen this area, including specialized orthodontic devices, and would appreciate recommendations for UK orthodontists experienced in such procedures. I've known about oral posture techniques since 2018 but lacked consistency until now. Health and appearance are now priorities—| recognize their interconnected value.

My oral health has suffered due to mental health struggles, though I take accountability.

For three years, swollen submandibular glands with salivary stones have caused chronic pain, fueling regret over neglected structural development. I've quit smoking (1 month clean), which worsened cognitive function. Teeth are nearly aligned, with power chains likely next. Four premolars were extracted, and gaps are closing.

The depth of your palate cannot be accurately gauged on the photo, but it does not appear to be narrow. Normally a narrow palate would present with a v-shaped dental arch and this is not so in your case, although you already have some ortho work done.
