Female age 71 with severe VonWillebrands, (bleeder). I have two lower wisdom teeth, one that's partially exposed, with a filling that's probably 15 years old. The other is mostly covered and impossible to keep clean, no cavity there yet. There is often an odor from that tooth indicating trapped food. I saw an oral surgeon and he recommended a coronectomy on both teeth. I will be treated with a product to control bleeding. The procedure will be done under general anesthesia taking around 2and 1/2 hours. He gave me the option of having it done in February, or just waiting to see if things stay the same or decline. I'm concerned that waiting might mean my age will become an issue. I'm the strongest I'll ever be. Also osteoporosis could get involved. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks.
