hi all
I was recently refered to the hospital to have a full dental clearance done. Before the procedure i had a set of immediate denture made and then had the extractions. When i arrived at the hospital i advised the dentist that was doing the op that i had my dentures with me and was told that they do not fit them straight away and that i should try either later that night or the next day.I had the treatment done about 1 1/2 weeks ago and i am still in emense pain and having to use the strongest pain killers available.Should this pain have gone by now or should it be subsiding.
Also what i have noticed is that part of my gumline has receeded and part of my bone is showing.Would having immediate denture have prevented this from happening or am i just unlucky?
