How long can I wait until a root canal or extraction?

I am on day six of Amoxicillin 500 mg 3x a day. After about 3 days I was able to reduce Motrin which I had been taking every 6-8 hours 600 mg. How long can I safely wait until extraction or hopefully get root canal? Dentists are booked up until at lest 10th June - that's one month from now. Will infection spread? Will serious pain return?

Can I wait until the end of June when I will be back in my country? Can I fly with this problem?

Good day

Some antibiotics stay in your system for 2 weeks to a month, which should keep the pain/infection at bay. If you don't have severe pain and you can manage with over the counter anti-inflammatory meds, you should be able to fly and hold out until you see the dentist.
