Hi,

I, for as long as I can remember, have had a horizontal crease (or fold if you prefer) above my top lip when I smile with my teeth. It is something I am very insecure about and would like to, if possible have fixed and gotten rid of. On seeking advice from both my regular dentist and seeing a specialist on what my regular dentist thought was the underlying issue of an extended frenulum above my two front teeth, there has been no conclusions drawn or any advice on getting it sorted.

Also, does anyone have any ideas on the extra skin bottom centre of top lip? Can't work that one out either and not a massive fan.

Does anyone have any idea as to what is causing this and what I can do about it??

Please help if you can!

That's just the way you are. Small mouth, and large lip. Blame your parents. Maybe see an orthodontist because broadening your teeth might prevent the bunching-up, but I don't know for sure.
