Hi. I have Autism & Anxiety. Sometimes when I am highly stressed, I have a tendency to bite / chew at my lips as I ‘stim’. Usually this isn’t too bad but recently I’ve been under a lot of pressure as I found out about a number of big changes in my care team & noticed I’ve been doing it a lot (I do try not to). Anyway, I’ve made a real mess this time & it hasn’t been this bad since around 3years ago when my Dad passed away / his funeral. Any advise on what I can do to help heal this & also prevent me from doing it as I do try. Thankyou so much for any help or advise.

Best advice would be to perhaps seek some counseling to address the anxiety issues. This is more a psychological issue than a dental issue unfortunately
