Got this black bump ball-like inflammation after wisdom teeth removal

Hello everyone,

I just had my wisdom teeth removed today (upper and lower left), and the dentist told me that it is normal for the gum to be inflamed for a few days.
However, I noticed a black ball-like bump where the upper wisdom tooth was removed. The lower one doesn't have this kind of unusual inflammation.
Is this normal, or should I consult my dentist again?

If you have no severe pain, this is normal. I would suggest giving it some time in order for normal healing to take place.

I have no pain right now since I am on ibuprofen and acetaminophen for a couple of days. So I guess I will wait, then.
