Hi everyone,
Yesterday I had my first root canal therapy on my upper First molar (left side) with the second sitting in 7 days. However, I am expirencing a dull pain in my second premolar when pressure is applied ( the next tooth). I was just wondering if this is normal or could my dentist of a set off this tooth aswell. Also, my second premolar has had a filling in the past. Has anyone expirenced this dull pain after RCT or should I contact my dentist ASAP because the last thing I want is another infected tooth
Thanks.

Good day

It can be only referred pain from the tooth he is currently busy with. It is sometimes a bit sensitive the first few days after starting a root canal treatment. If the pain persists, just mention this to your dentist during your next visit.
