Hello,
I had a retreatment done on this teeth 4 years ago. Recently it started to hurt again while chewing. I consulted with a dentist and they told Me that the root canal retreatmen was done so horribly that, fixing this tooth was impossible and suggested me to pull it out. I consulted with a different dentist too, and they told me that it was possible to pull the extra filling material from the teeth root out, disinfect the teeth and redo the root canal again to preserve the teeth. This dentist alse told me that if I had issues in the future again I could always remove this teeth.

My question is, is it truly possible to remove the extra filling material from the tooth's root? Is there a chance that something will be stuck in my jaw forever? And is there a possibility that this tooth could cause me other more severe isues in the future?

I'm open to all the options. I just wanted to hear honest opinions from different dentists if it is truly possible to fix this and in general I want to know what would be the best to do for my health. Removing a teeth does scare me as I'm still 22, but I'm willing to do it if it's trully the best thing to do.

The extrusion could be removed (surgically) and would best be done by an endodontist. If this is your most recent Xray, then there has also been incomplete healing at the apex of the back root, so the endo would redo the entire RCT too. Get a consultation with an endodontist. To save it might cost you slightly less than extracting and placing an implant, but worth investigating the retreatment first. Implants have failure rates too, so avoid until necessary.
