Did whitening cause this?

Hello everyone.

I've done a professional teeth whitening in september 2016 (with zoom lamp and hydrogen peroxide) and recently i used some teeth whitening strips (i started with 10% then went up to 13% for a week)

Recently i noticed that one of my teeth went blueish-purple colour. My dentist told me that this looks like enamel damage (he is not certain about this, this is why i am asking here)

You can notice in the photo that one tooth is kind of purple.I also want to mention that my tooth did not suffer from a trauma. So what do you guys say, did teeth whitening cause this? Can I whiten my teeth again in the next months? Thanks
