So I was at the dentist on Monday and was told I had four cavities. I was told one had to be filled separately from the others. Fast forward to today and I go in to have the bigger one filled. Once that was taken care of, they scheduled me for a deep cleaning later today since they had cancellations. As the hygienist is talking with me, I said how surprised I was that I only had four cavities. She tells me I have seven. Will they count multiple cavities on one tooth separately or just add them together and count it as one cavity? It's been confusing to me since I was told by the dentist I have four while the hygienist tells me I have seven. Any help is appreciated!
