Hello!
I'm a junior at a university in Michigan and a nearby community college offers a Dental Hygiene program that I'm very interested in. It would take 3 years, so it'd be like starting college all over for me, so I'm pretty apprehensive about it. I was hoping some people who are experienced in the field could help answer some questions for me. I've read online that a lot of people in the career have to work 2 part time jobs...is this true? If so, do these people eventually find themselves being able to work full-time at one dentist office? Has anyone experienced moving out of state and getting their licensing in a different state? Overall is there a good job market for it? Any comments good or bad that might sway me one way?
Thank you so much if anyone can answer any of these!!
