Canal Root ?

Hi , my son few months ago had accident and run into glass door.

Now after 4 months one of his tooth( right tooth, left on the picture) is paining him a lot . On Monday I went to his dentist and he told me that he have infection of the side of the tooth and gave him antibiotics. He even said tooth is a little loose.

I informed him that I booked cleaning with another dentist on Wednesday and ask him if my son can attend that . HE said that's OK ( he is fully booked for cleaning till January 2025).Today I went with my son for cleaning and she did xray and said my son needs Canal root .I am so confused should i do the canal root or wait ...He is only 15

Do a root canal as soon as possible. The tooth is loose due to the infection. After the root canal has been completed, the tooth can be monitored, to see if the mobility decreases as the infection heals and bone regeneration takes place.
If you wait too long, unnecessary destruction of bone can take place and he might end up losing the tooth.
