Bump under tongue

Few days ago I noticed this bump/fold under my tongue. Initially it hurt a bit in that area while moving my tongue (but it might be coincidence), I used mousewash and now there is no paint, but the structure looks still the same. May be I have it there for a long time and just noticed that now. Any idea what it can be and if it is normal?

Does it feel hard or soft? If it is hard, it might be a salivary stone.

It is not rock hard, but it is definitely much harder than surrounding tissue and it can be easily felt if I put my finger on it.

What would you suggest to do? Could it be someting more serious (like cancer)?
