I am having a mental breakdown. I went through a failed partial denture procedure. (A whole year) My gums and jaw are injured. Gums still feel like peeling. My lower teeth were damaged.I ended up needing emergency root canals and crowns.Still awaiting the crowns for next thursday.I feel i am torturing myself another year on teeth that that are in bad shape. I just went back to an old dentist that helped me years ago. During the lower teeth crowns process they scratched 3 lower crowned molars.I have severe tmj now the way these molars glide on my upper because the acrylic goes over the teeth, is rough and scratchy. The lower molar crowns are too scratched. From sight they look fine, office man rob says no way they should be changed, and tried to polish them which made them worse. Since i have severe tmj and facial pain it turned into an emergency. And i had to self adjust my stayplate. To relieve pressure from lower molars to the top. My tmj cant handle friction and obstruction in movement i even put wax on the lower stayplate part and am using some soft guard blocks to bite down and relax my jaw. Now my stayplate doesnt fit too well since i had to relieve it fits more snug and i need a tiny bit adhesive in the front. My gums feel like theyre peeling even more since stayplate is hitting harder. I need these 3 lower scratched molar crowns to be REDONE AT NO COST. IF THEY DO NOT CORRECT THIS im done. I also need a temporary upper piece asap. Ive been struggling to eat for a year with this stayplate, and now with these sore temporary crowns its even harder to eat. I get crowns on thursday but i feel in my HEART ive tortured myself ENOUGH! I CONSULTED affordable dentures for full set upper and bottom and add 2 inplants on bottom in addition to the 2 i have. Also bone graphs on top and bone straightening on bottom. I feel this path of continuing to try is leading me to a mental breakdown. I feel its an emergency.Calling monday and ending this torture and set on AFFORDABLE

It may be beneficial to seek a second opinion from a prosthodontist or an oral surgeon who specializes in complex dental restorations. They can assess whether the crowns need replacement or if adjustments can be made to alleviate discomfort.
Your situation is undoubtedly challenging due to both physical discomfort and emotional distress stemming from prolonged dental issues. Seeking specialized care for both your crowns and TMJ symptoms is crucial for improving your quality of life moving forward.
addressing TMJ-related discomfort requires careful management of dental appliances like stayplates and crowns. It’s essential to advocate for yourself by communicating clearly with your dentist about your needs for adjustments or replacements without incurring additional costs.
it seems you are leaning towards affordable dentures with additional procedures, ensure that this decision aligns with both your physical health needs and emotional well-being.
