Biting inside of jaws

Anyone have trouble biting their jaws especially at night. Doesn't really bother me in the daytime. At night especially when I lay on my side I bite my left jaw the worst.. Sometime I wear a night guard to keep from doing it. I am 71. Maybe gravity has taken over and my jaws sink when lay on my side. Anyone have anything like this.

I think like you said maybe it's because you are old.
