Afraid I have too much space to close

dentist here! patient presented with proclination of u/l anteriors with open bite. congenitally missing 1 lower incisor. in spite of that , i felt i cannot reduce the bite and correct proclination without all 4s extraction. started treatment with all 4s extraction. mid treatment, I am afraid i would have more space than required in the lower arch. I feel guilty and devastated. I would like any input on how to correct this, or will the space be closed. will mild mesialisation of 2nd premolar and molar work in this case? any imput would be helpful

Did you consider referring to an orthodontist for an opinion? Don't know why you thought you needed to extract all 4's, with a lower incisor already missing.
Is the treatment being done with fixed brackets or aligners?

Work in a charitable trust. I am the only dentist for miles, made the treatment plan after consulting an orthodontist I know , extraction was done due to excessive u/L proclination, missing lower incisor didn’t contribute much to space .It probably would close, I am just a little doubtful, very early stages of treatment

I think you can move the 2nd premolar and molar slightly more mesial, without any issues, but make sure no food trap is created distal of the first molar. It will be a bit of a give and take
