48 hours post extraction, pain worsening, bone exposed?

48 hours ago I had a lower left molar pulled and a filling, there’s not been much pain if any until 3/4 hours ago where now there is a deep throbbing sensation on the extraction site. After taking a look it seems there’s also gone? But this piece of bone was actually visible whilst the tooth was still in so maybe it’s attached to the very back molar. I’m just scared of dry socket more than anything. Please see attached images and thanks for your opinions.

Keep an eye on the area. If the pain becomes more severe and is accompanied by a bad smell/taste, there might be a chance that you have a dry socket.
This is very common in bottom teeth especially.
Otherwise if the pain is tolerable and does not increase in intensity, it is most likely normal post-op surgical pain.
